Ten Bears are one of the hotly tipped groups for 2009. TEN BEARS are lead by their incredible energy, charm and charisma, and have been causing a stir around Manchester and UK music venues, winning over crowds where ever they go. Their song ‘Dirt On The Radio’ is being used as the theme tune to T4's Orange Act Unsigned and is available to download on iTunes. They have Radio One coverage on the Huw Stephens show, and a live session for Marc Riley’s 6 music under their belts. They are currently in the studio working with Ric Levy (Yeah Yeah Yeah’s/Mystery Jets), and planning a wild summer with Glastonbury Festival.

CYNIC GURU is led by multi-talented singer/songwriter/violinist Roland Hartwell, a member of the Icelandic Symphony Orchestra who has played with Elvis Costello, Dr. Dre, Burt Bacharach, Barry White, P Diddy, Mandy Moore, and The Moody Blues amongst others. Cynic Guru has blazed a trail in their homeland with their own unique brand of slightly skewed, deceptively dark rock music. Cynic Guru’s unique blend of twisted story-telling, oddball-eclecticism and radio-friendly pop falls somewhere between The Mothers of Invention and E.L.O re-imagined by 80’s pop producer extraordinaire Trevor Horn, and as such, completely defies categorization.
Their debut album ‘ICELAND’ has already been a huge smash back home, where it was released by Iceland’s biggest record company to critical and commercial acclaim, spawning several hit singles, including recent single ‘Drugs’ which reached number one in the Icelandic charts.
